A mast designed for kids and young riders

NeilPryde Dragonfly RDM is built specifically for younger riders who need equipment better suited to their weight, strength and smaller sail sizes. Compared with standard adult masts, this model has a flex characteristic that helps young windsurfers feel the sail more naturally and get better performance from it right from the early stages of learning.

The mast was developed to work perfectly with NeilPryde Dragonfly sails, creating a well-matched setup in terms of bend curve and on-water feel. This matters especially during the learning phase, where the right mast has a real impact on how easy the sail is to handle.

Lightweight and durable composite construction

The construction combines fiberglass and carbon fibers. This gives the mast a well-balanced mix of durability and low weight. It stays light enough for young riders to handle comfortably, while still being strong enough for regular use, sail handling practice and the kind of mistakes that naturally come with progression.

The RDM diameter works especially well in youth windsurf equipment. A reduced diameter mast is easier to handle and better suited to smaller hands and lighter rigs.
