The mutual goal was to design wave fins for lighter riders that come with an outstanding performance in all conditions - from perfect side shore days to dead onshore wind - and that supports the initiation of turns and rail changes in general with less pressure.
The design goal was mainly reached with an updated leading edge, more flex and a reduced surface area. This improves the board control in stronger winds / gusts and intense chop tremendously, especially for lighter riders.
