Purpose and overall concept
Manera Seafarer Hooded 5/4/3 is a women’s neoprene wetsuit designed for riding in cold water during autumn and winter. The integrated hood provides consistent thermal protection and comfort during long sessions, whether you ride windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling or surfing.
The 5/4/3 mm construction delivers a solid balance between warmth and mobility, while reduced thickness in the arms and shoulders improves upper-body freedom of movement.
3D construction and fit
This wetsuit is developed using full 3D design. Instead of adapting flat patterns to the body, Manera first creates a three-dimensional shape and then converts it into precise production panels.
The result is a natural, second-skin fit that limits water entry, avoids pressure points and allows the neoprene to work efficiently without unnecessary tension. The wetsuit stays close to the body without folds or discomfort in sensitive areas.
Seams and durability
Critical areas are reinforced with SD2 Tape 2.0 technology. The seams are glued and blind-stitched, then reinforced on the inside with a heat-welded tape. This construction improves waterproofness, flexibility and long-term durability, especially during regular winter use.
Additional sealing prints at the ankles and wrists reduce water flushing and help keep the panels correctly positioned while riding.
Materials and thermal insulation
The Seafarer Hooded 5/4/3 is built around the Triplex Seafarer construction, combining three complementary material layers. The inner X10D fleece provides reliable thermal insulation and fast drying, especially across the chest and back. Its lightweight structure traps body heat without adding bulk.
The limestone-based S-foam neoprene offers a balanced ratio of warmth, stretch and durability, while the outer Re-flex skin improves UV resistance and supports dynamic movement on the water.
