Reliable thermal protection for winter sessions
Manera Seafarer Hooded 5/4/3 is a men’s neoprene wetsuit developed for winter riding and extended sessions in cold conditions. The integrated hood significantly improves thermal protection around the head and neck, which is essential when riding in low water temperatures and strong wind.
The 5/4/3 mm thickness provides solid insulation, while 4 mm panels in the arms and shoulders increase upper-body flexibility without compromising warmth.
3D fit and natural movement
The wetsuit is designed using full 3D modeling, allowing for a natural, second-skin fit. This construction reduces water entry and prevents air pockets from forming inside the suit.
Proper fit also improves durability, as the neoprene stretches only when the body moves.
Seam sealing and construction
Critical areas are reinforced with SD2 Tape 2.0. Seams are glued, blind-stitched and internally welded with heat-applied tape, improving waterproofness, flexibility and long-term durability.
The Strategic Structure layout places seams away from high-tension and high-friction zones, increasing comfort and resistance to wear.
Materials and thermal comfort
Seafarer Hooded 5/4/3 is built using the Triplex Seafarer construction, combining three materials with distinct roles. S-Foam neoprene offers a balanced ratio of warmth, flexibility and durability, while the outer Re-flex skin improves UV resistance and longevity.
The inner X10D Fleece Plus lining across the chest and back enhances thermal insulation and speeds up drying. X10D Jersey, in direct contact with the skin, provides stretch, lightness and a smooth feel.
Functional details
Sealing Prints at the ankles and wrists stiffen these areas to keep panels in place and limit water entry. Fusion Cut cuffs at the arms and legs reduce bulk and improve sealing in critical zones.
