Speedscape is a completely new design in the Loftsails range, developed with slalom-speed performance as its main focus.
The no-cam layout keeps rotation smooth, transitions clean and the overall feel light in the hands, while the sail geometry is tuned for stronger acceleration and high-speed efficiency.
Higher Aspect Ratio
Speedscape uses a higher aspect ratio than Oxygen.
The slimmer geometry creates a cleaner aerodynamic profile and allows the upper leech to open slightly more. This improves efficiency at speed and helps maintain control as wind strength increases.
Deeper lower profile
The lower section of the sail carries a slightly deeper profile.
This generates earlier drive and stronger acceleration without requiring cambers, while maintaining stability as speed builds.
Dual Luff Panels
One of the key construction features is the Dual Luff Panel design.
The dual-panel layout defines the sail body profile more precisely and helps maintain the intended shape as wind strength and trim change.
Compared with a single luff panel, the profile is less likely to shift under load, resulting in more predictable drive across the wind range.
Wide trim range
Speedscape responds clearly to both downhaul and outhaul, allowing the rider to tune the sail precisely.
Dual clew eyelets extend the tuning range further.
The upper eyelet creates a firmer leech and more profile depth, while the lower eyelet increases elasticity, opens a larger twist zone and flattens the profile for better upper-end control.
Tubed Battens and Cross Batten
Depending on size, Speedscape uses multiple Tubed Battens to increase profile stability and maintain forward-oriented drive under higher loads.
A Cross Batten links the boom area directly to the batten frame. Working together with the inset clew and leech geometry, it helps control lower-leech twist and improves stability at the upper end.
Monofilm-free construction
Speedscape uses a monofilm-free construction based on Bi-Ply and X-Ply materials.

Dual Kevlar Clew Radials
Two Kevlar Clew Radials extend from the clew into the sail body.
Their role is to reduce stretch in this highly loaded area and help maintain profile stability during fast, powered sailing.
Side-Alternating X-Ply Batten Pockets
The batten pockets are made from X-Ply with stretch characteristics closely matched to the surrounding sail panels.
Alternating the pockets from one side of the sail to the other helps reduce the natural asymmetry created by panel seams, resulting in a more balanced profile on both tacks.
Trim and rigging details
The Trim Diamond provides a visual reference for checking leech release and repeating precise downhaul settings.
The Full-Opening Mast Pad gives easy access to the mast extension, downhaul system and integrated batten tensioner.
The Neoprene Boom Cutout with Zippers helps slow water entry into the mast sleeve, giving the rider more time to recover the sail before the sleeve fills.
