Higher aspect ratio and refined profile
A higher aspect ratio and refined geometry reduce aerodynamic resistance and help maintain a clean profile at speed.

Lower center of effort
Revised luff curves and batten angles lower the center of effort and distribute load more evenly through the sail.

Controlled leech response
The lower leech retains more tension while the upper section opens more freely.

What's new in the Racingblade 2027?
The Racingblade 2027 features a restructured size range, making it easier to match the sail to your board, rider weight and wind conditions. The previous 6.6 m² size has been replaced by two options – 6.3 m² and 7.0 m². The 7.7 m² replaces the 7.4 m², offering more low-end power, while the 9.1 m² returns to the range for light-wind fin racing.
The profile below the boom is slightly deeper, generating more power in light to medium winds. Revised batten specifications create a sharper entry angle and a slightly rounder mid-body profile.
Leech release has also been recalibrated, with slightly less release in the lower section and more in the upper section. Deeper clew cut-outs promote smoother, more harmonious lower leech twist.
Together, these refinements deliver improved low-end power, better upwind performance and easier control in stronger winds.

What type of board works best with the Racingblade?
The Racingblade has been designed for single-fin slalom boards. Matching the sail size to the board's volume and width is essential for achieving the right balance and maximum racing performance.
6.3 m² – ideal for 90–100 litre boards, particularly in long-distance racing.
7.0 m² – a natural match for 115–120 litre boards, especially in unstable or offshore wind conditions where consistent drive is important.
7.7 m² – works well with both 115–120 litre boards and larger models up to 135 litres with widths exceeding 80 cm. A versatile size for a variety of racing conditions.
9.1 m² – designed for large slalom boards and light-wind racing. It delivers excellent early planing and efficiency for fin racers who prefer not to foil.
