JP-Australia CruisAir LC is designed for regular paddling, training and covering longer distances. Its shape combines efficient glide with the level of stability needed for everyday recreational use.
The narrower mid-section reduces drag and helps maintain speed, while the wider tail provides a stable platform. This makes the CruisAir LC faster and more efficient than a typical allround board without moving into the very narrow race-board category.
The model is available in two sizes:
11'6" × 30" – 350 × 76 cm
12'6" × 32" – 381 × 81 cm
Cruising – CruisAir LC 11'6"
The 11'6" version is designed for paddlers looking for a lightweight and efficient board for everyday sessions, shorter trips and fitness training. Its 350 cm length supports good tracking, while the 76 cm width helps the board move efficiently through the water.
The narrower shape creates less drag but requires slightly more balance than a wider allround board. The 11'6" is a good choice for paddlers with some basic experience or those who want to improve their technique on longer routes.
The board weighs approximately 6.6 kg, making it easy to carry to the water, load into a car and transport when deflated.
Touring & Fitness – CruisAir LC 12'6"
The 12'6" version is intended for longer trips, regular training and recreational distance paddling. Its 381 cm length creates a longer waterline, helping the board maintain speed and a straight course.
With a width of 81 cm and greater volume, this version offers more stability and space for the paddler. It requires fewer paddle-side changes when travelling in a straight line and works well on longer, calmer routes.
Despite its increased dimensions, the board weighs approximately 7.3 kg, so it remains convenient to carry and transport.
LC Light Crossed Technology
Both sizes use LC Light Crossed construction. The cross-woven dropstitch core reduces weight while maintaining the stiffness required for regular paddling.
Welded rails create a durable and consistent bond between the material layers. They also allow the board to be inflated to a higher pressure, helping reduce flex under load.
Fine-Line EVA Pad
The Fine-Line EVA Pad provides a comfortable and grippy surface underfoot during longer trips and training sessions. Gaps between the pad sections make the board easier to fold and pack after use.
Which size should you choose?
CruisAir LC 11'6" is the better option for paddlers who prioritise low weight, efficient acceleration and a more responsive feel. Its narrower width improves glide and speed but requires slightly better balance.
CruisAir LC 12'6" offers more stability, deck space and better tracking. It is well suited to beginner and intermediate paddlers planning longer trips, fitness sessions and regular paddling on calmer water.
