Jewel Curv is built for windsurfers who ride regularly and want a supportive, secure feel—especially when conditions get stronger and sessions get longer. It’s designed to stay stable under load while still allowing the hip movement you need for active riding.
Female-specific padding and back support
The padding is shaped with female anatomy in mind, aiming for a more natural wrap around the back and hips. In practice, that means more even pressure distribution and fewer pressure points when you’re locked in for long reaches.
3D Molded Curv shell: support where it counts
At the core is the 3D Molded Curv hard shell. A rigid central spine provides reliable back support, while the side sections remain more flexible so the harness can conform naturally to your body and keep you moving freely through turns, jumps, and wave riding.
3D Fit Technology + exchangeable Ergo Pad
3D Fit Technology adds intermediate sizing for a more precise fit. On top of that, the exchangeable Ergo Pad lets you tune the back support shape to match your body and riding style—useful for improving comfort and reducing hot spots during powered sessions.
Spectre Bar 2 + Spectre flaps: stability and load distribution
The Jewel Curv comes complete with the Spectre Bar 2, ION’s spreader bar with a slim outline and an aluminium windsurf hook. It’s designed for even load distribution and precise control. Spectre flaps (removable TPE parts) help prevent the spreader bar from twisting upward, improving stability and responsiveness under load.
Locked-in hold: Internal Flex_Belt + Side padding
The Internal Flex_Belt closure system pulls the harness snug from the inside and adapts to your anatomy. Sewn-in Side padding helps prevent the harness from riding up, keeping the fit stable during active riding and longer tacks.
Comfort that doesn’t soak up water
Hyper_Foam is a viscoelastic foam that shapes to your body for an ergonomic feel without absorbing water like traditional foams. That helps the harness stay lighter and more consistent over long sessions.
