The Static 3/2 Overknee SS is a wetsuit for women who want a simple, effective setup for ocean sports without going into complex constructions. The Static line takes a few practical ideas from higher-end suits and keeps the focus on comfort, flexibility, and easy day-to-day use.
Cut: short sleeves + overknee legs
Short sleeves keep shoulder movement natural for paddling and active riding. The overknee leg length adds more coverage than a classic shorty, giving extra protection where you often contact the board—especially when kneeling, doing repeated starts, or climbing back onto your gear.
Warmth and lining
A thin nylon lining on the inside is designed for a comfortable feel and unrestricted movement. Combined with 3/2 mm neoprene, it provides basic insulation and helps reduce wind chill in milder conditions.
Stretch and feel
The outer nylon is thin, flexible, and durable, creating a very soft overall wearing experience. The suit is designed to move easily without feeling stiff, which helps during longer sessions.
Seams and durability
Flatlock stitching creates strong yet flexible seams that work well for warm-water wetsuits. Reinforced seams add extra durability in higher-stress zones for regular use.
S_Type limestone neoprene
ION’s S_Type standard foam is made from limestone instead of oil, offering a practical balance of warmth and stretch—well suited for a versatile women’s wetsuit for the season.
Back zip entry + drainage
Back zip entry keeps things straightforward and quick when changing at the spot. Reinforced drain holes at the chest help water flush out so the suit doesn’t feel as heavy when you step out of the water.
