Who the Echo is for (seat harness)
Echo is built for riders starting out in kitesurfing who want a simple, comfortable setup. A seat harness typically sits more securely and is less likely to ride up than a waist harness, which can make early waterstarts and first rides feel more controlled.
Soft support without restricting movement
The harness is designed to hug the body while keeping movement natural. That matters when you’re learning, adjusting stance constantly, and spending a lot of time in the water during early progression.
Thicker leg straps for comfort
Comfort-focused, thicker leg straps help take pressure off and reduce that “digging in” feeling under load. This makes it easier to stay out longer while you’re working on repeated starts and short runs.
Durability for early sessions
Reinforced materials are used to handle the wear and tear that often comes with the first weeks on the water—frequent crashes, dragging gear around the beach, and constant setup.
C-Bar 1.0: reliable and easy to use
Echo is delivered with the C-Bar 1.0, the original ION spreader bar with a stainless steel hook. A tension lever makes tightening simpler, while the design distributes load symmetrically across the bar for a stable feel. The concept is that you set the webbings once, and after that you can open and close quickly using the quick-release buckle.
