This harness is made for riders who want a supportive, locked-in feel—especially when riding powered, doing longer tacks, and loading up for jumps. The idea is simple: less twisting, less riding up, and a more stable connection to the kite when things get demanding.
Curv shell: support without feeling like a brick
At the core is the 3D Molded Curv hard shell. It uses a rigid central “spine” to support the back, while the side sections stay more flexible so the harness can wrap naturally around your body and still allow hip movement.
3D Fit Technology: dial in your fit
ION’s 3D Fit Technology is about getting closer to a tailored fit: intermediate sizing options plus an exchangeable Ergo Pad, so you can fine-tune the shape to your back and your riding style. The goal is more even pressure distribution and fewer hot spots when riding fully loaded.
Spectre Bar 2: stability and load distribution
The Riot Curv comes with the Spectre Bar 2, a lightweight but ultra-strong spreader bar designed for better load distribution and clean, precise control. Spectre flaps (removable TPE parts) help prevent the bar from twisting upward and add stability, which you’ll notice when edging hard or sending bigger moves.
Comfort that doesn’t soak up water
Hyper_Foam is a viscoelastic foam that shapes to your body for an ergonomic feel without absorbing water like traditional foams. The Internal Flex_Belt closure system pulls the harness snug from the inside and adapts to your anatomy, helping keep the harness stable during active riding.
Safety details and included hardware
Next to the spreader bar there’s a Leash D-Ring attachment point, and you can choose the side depending on preference. The Kite_knife Multitool 2.0 combines a safety knife with useful tools (TX20 Torx and PH3) for quick fixes on the spot—handy for footstraps and ION’s modular hook system.
