What this board bag is for
The Core Downwinder is designed for daily use—spot runs, car transport, and clean storage at home. It’s shaped for longer downwind-style foil boards, with practical details that make packing faster and protect the board from the usual knocks and abrasion.
Outer shell: 100% recycled PU coated PET 450D
The outer fabric is made from 100% recycled PET with a 450D thread density and a PU coating. In practice, that means good abrasion resistance and extra water resistance—built to handle regular use rather than occasional travel.
Everyday protection: 5 mm foam padding
A 5 mm foam layer protects against typical bumps, scuffs, and day-to-day handling. For extra travel protection, you can add another layer inside (for example a wetsuit or towels), especially if you’re stacking gear in a crowded car.
Foil compatible: pack the board without removing the mast
A Velcro opening at the bottom lets you store the board with the foil still installed—no need to remove the mast and wings after every session. It’s a simple feature that saves time and reduces the constant screw/insert wear that comes with repeated disassembly.
Off-white PE bottom: helps keep the inside cooler
The outside bottom uses an off-white PE layer designed to reduce heat build-up when the bag sits in the sun. Useful on the beach, in parking lots, or when the bag is in the car between sessions.
Carry options + shoulder strap compatibility
Handles on the side and top make handling easy, and a centered carry handle helps balance longer boards. The bag is also “shoulder strap core compatible”—you can attach any shoulder strap with two carabiners (strap not included).
Tool and accessory pockets
Two external Velcro-secured tool pockets keep screws, tools, and small parts organized and easy to access. An additional internal pocket gives you a fixed place for essentials you don’t want loose inside the bag.
