Built for light wind performance
The ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH CARBON was developed for riders who want to get the most out of lighter conditions. Its shape is designed to make take-offs easier, improve glide, and add stability when the wind is not strong enough for shorter and more compact boards. In practice, it helps you get moving sooner, lift onto the foil earlier, and ride with more confidence in marginal wind.
More length instead of more thickness
With this model, F-ONE chose to add length rather than thickness. This approach improves balance and glide while keeping a more natural feel under your feet. The board does not feel overly bulky, yet in light wind it gives clear support during acceleration and take-off.
Refined volume distribution for better stability
The volume has been distributed very carefully, especially in the nose area. This gives the ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH CARBON more stability while waiting for gusts, building speed, and during the first phase of flight. It is a valuable advantage both for less experienced riders and for advanced users who simply want to ride more efficiently in lighter wind.
Carbon construction - light, stiff, and reactive
The CARBON version uses HD Foam Carbon Composite construction, a sandwich made of high-density foam, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. This makes the board very light, stiff, and resistant to heel pressure and everyday impacts. On the water, it translates into better responsiveness, more efficient pumping, and a more direct connection to the foil.
Bottom shape that improves glide and softens touchdowns
The front section of the bottom has a more rounded shape, which improves glide and makes take-offs feel smoother. This geometry also helps the board recover more gently through touchdowns, increasing comfort and making it easier to stay in control. It adds forgiveness without taking away from the board’s performance-oriented character.
Slim outline and parallel rails
Even with its added length, the board keeps a slim outline, while the parallel rails help generate glide and speed during take-off. As a result, the board accelerates efficiently without feeling heavy or sluggish. The narrower form also makes it easier to roll from rail to rail and gives the board a more natural feel in turns.
Slightly wider tail for better launch stability
The slightly wider tail helps preserve stability during the key moment of acceleration and lift-off. This works well with the longer overall shape, giving the rider more support at low speed without sacrificing flow or freedom once riding. The result is a board that remains accessible while still feeling refined.
Tail step for cleaner water release
The step on the bottom near the tail helps release water more cleanly from the rear section of the board and reduces unnecessary drag while accelerating. At the same time, removing the central step in front of the tracks improves compatibility with Foil Drive systems. It is a practical detail for riders who want more freedom when building their setup.
Longer shape without a cumbersome feel
One of the strengths of this model is that, despite its larger dimensions, it does not feel awkward or oversized on the water. The reduced width helps keep the board agile and also makes carving and committed turns easier. Because of that, the MIDLENGTH CARBON works not only in light wind, but also in a wider range of conditions if you want easy take-offs combined with enjoyable handling.
Can also be used as a SUP foil board
Advanced riders can also use this board as a SUP for riding waves or for shorter downwind runs. Its slim shape and good maneuverability give it broader potential than a board focused only on easy wingfoil take-offs.
Carbon Twin-Tracks for a more precise feel
The Carbon Twin-Tracks with standard 90 mm spacing are compatible with masts using a four-bolt top plate. Their carbon construction improves the connection between the board and foil, creating more direct feedback, better control, and greater precision during maneuvers. The longer tracks also provide more room to fine-tune foil position and adjust the balance of the full setup.
