Who this foil is for
The JAM was designed first and foremost for dock starts and pump foiling, where quick lift-off, long glide, and maximum efficiency at low speed matter most. It is a foil that works both for riders getting into pump foiling and for more advanced users looking for an efficient wing for long pumping sessions and riding in minimal conditions. Thanks to its characteristics, it also performs well for wingfoiling and SUP downwind in light wind, and even for surf foiling on very small swells.
Very easy take-off and long glide
The JAM’s biggest strength is the way it combines easy take-off with very long glide. After just a few pumps, the foil can rise out of the water and keep flying smoothly, and even after a short pause in pumping it still keeps carrying. That is exactly what makes it such a good option for dock starts and flatwater pumping, where every bit of energy counts. The foil does not require constant, nervous effort - it gives the rider more time and a bigger margin to stay in rhythm.
TITAN 2 connection and a more direct feel
The new TITAN 2 connection improves stiffness, efficiency, and confidence at the junction between the mast and foil. The system uses two M8 screws and has been reinforced in this key structural area, allowing the whole setup to react more precisely and deliver a more direct feel underfoot. In practice, this means better energy transfer while pumping, fewer losses, and more consistent foil behavior. The added stiffness also helps make better use of glide and reduce drag.
High efficiency at low speed and the ability to accelerate
Its high aspect ratio of 10, refined profile, and carefully tuned angle of attack help reduce drag and improve the wing’s efficiency. As a result, the JAM performs extremely well at low speed, but can also accelerate noticeably when needed. That matters because this foil is not just a pumping machine - it also gives riders the option to go faster, use it for light wind wingfoiling, or enjoy small waves with ease. One of its biggest strengths is the way it combines lift, glide, and useful speed.
Not just for pumping
Although the JAM was developed mainly for dock starts and pump foiling, its use goes beyond that. The brand clearly shows that thanks to its strong low-speed efficiency and ability to build speed, the foil also works very well for wingfoiling and downwind riding in lighter conditions. It can also be an interesting choice for surf foiling in micro-swells, where easy flight retention and efficient use of small wave energy are especially important. It is a specialized foil, but at the same time surprisingly versatile.
Refined construction and stiffness
The JAM also benefits from construction solutions that improve precision and direct response. High Modulus fiber is around 1.5 times stiffer than standard carbon, which allows the foil to perform better in both bending and torsion without becoming overly harsh. The Monobloc Front Wing construction integrates the front wing with the fuselage, removing a connection point in one of the most highly loaded parts of the setup. In practice, this means greater stiffness, fewer unwanted micro-movements, and a more direct transfer of rider input to the foil.
Sizes and the character of each version
The JAM is available in three sizes: 1400, 1600, and 1900 cm². The 1400 cm² version is a very good choice for more experienced dock start and pump foil riders, as well as for riders starting out in SUP downwind, light wind wingfoiling, or surf foiling on very small swells. The 1600 cm² size works very well for wingfoiling and SUP foiling in marginal conditions, for riders who already know how to dock start, and for those learning SUP downwind. The 1900 cm² version is the best option for dock starts, pumping on flat water, and for heavier riders who need more lift and even easier take-offs.
