Shape and edging performance

A compact outline, thin and straight rails, and balanced tip width provide excellent edge grip and a decisive pop. The board responds intuitively when loaded, supports the rider during take-off, and helps increase line tension for higher jumps and longer hangtime.

Double Concave Step Design

The double concave with a defined step, combined with a full-length central channel and additional tip channels, improves grip and stability at speed. During landings, water is efficiently dispersed, reducing bounce and increasing control at touchdown.

Rocker and comfort in rough conditions

Flatter sections along the rails enable quick planing and make the board more forgiving. A moderate rocker offers good speed control when overpowered, smooth acceleration, and increased comfort in choppy water and on landings.

Hybrid construction – balance of pop and accessibility

The SPARK’s hybrid construction combines a paulownia wood core with strategically placed unidirectional carbon tapes. This setup delivers a lively, responsive flex with strong pop, without making the board overly stiff. The result is a comfortable and tolerant ride, especially appreciated in choppy conditions.
