Designed for light wind performance

The ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH is built specifically to make the most of light wind conditions. Its elongated shape and optimized bottom design provide outstanding glide and easier take-offs, even when wind strength is minimal.

More length instead of thickness

In this latest generation, thickness has been traded for additional length. This design choice improves balance, stability, and overall efficiency in light winds, without making the board feel bulky underfoot.

Optimized volume distribution and hull shape

The refined volume distribution, especially in the nose area, increases stability during starts and low-speed riding. A more rounded hull shape toward the front improves glide, resulting in smoother take-offs and more controlled touchdowns.

Tail, rails, and clean water release

A slightly wider tail helps maintain stability, while the slim outline and parallel rails promote speed and efficiency during take-off. A step on the bottom near the tail creates a clean water release without generating excessive drag while riding.

The removal of the central bottom step previously located in front of the Twin-Tracks makes the board compatible with Foil Drive systems.

Updated size and volume range

The new MIDLENGTH range spans from 5’10 to 6’10, with reduced volume compared to the previous generation. For example, the former 5’10 MIDLENGTH is now equivalent to a 6’2 in this new range, offering 95 liters instead of the previous 120 liters. This allows for more precise board selection based on rider weight and riding style.

Versatility beyond light wind

While designed for light wind, the narrow width keeps the ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH agile in stronger conditions as well. It carves easily and feels responsive in turns. Advanced riders can also use it as a SUP foil board for wave riding or short downwinders.

Lightweight Bamboo Deck construction

The board features an ultra-light Bamboo Deck construction, using a bamboo layer only on the deck. This keeps weight to a minimum while ensuring durability and strength. Foil feedback is very direct, and control remains consistent even at higher speeds.
