Freestyle built for competition and progression
The WTF?! has been designed from the ground up as a freestyle and competition board, where easy access to strong pop and full control during take-off and landing are essential. Its character allows riders to perform technical tricks with high consistency, regardless of speed or water state.
Construction and board feel
A wood core combined with fiberglass reinforcement and carbon tapes ensures efficient load transmission when edging hard for pop. The result is a highly durable board with a smooth, controlled feel underfoot, even during aggressive freestyle riding.
Rocker and take-off dynamics
The specific rocker line features a flatter center section for early planing and increased rocker toward the tips to keep landings smooth and controlled. The transition between these zones plays a key role in edging dynamics and loading the board to reach maximum amplitude.
Outline and landing stability
The versatile outline provides a large platform for take-offs and a stable landing zone. The board tips support powerful freestyle tricks while maintaining control and stability, even during hard landings from height.
HRD-inspired rail design
Thicker rails under the feet increase lift and balance in the center of the board. Toward the tips, the rail profile becomes thinner, improving grip and edging precision.
Advanced bottom shaping
The board features a complex Double Concave Step Design, including a central V-double concave, side step channels, and tip channels. This shaping improves grip, water release, and overall control at speed, while reducing surface tension for smoother, more manageable landings.
Flat deck and binding compatibility
A completely flat deck ensures consistent contact with bindings, regardless of brand. This improves control and makes it easier to achieve a precise and secure setup.
Sizes and constructions
The board is available in five sizes. The 140x42.5 cm, 138x42 cm, and 136x41.5 cm sizes use the Slim construction with a thinner core, offering improved flex for lighter riders. The 130x39 cm and 127x37 cm sizes are designed for the Next Generation
