Helical Rail Design - the heart of the board

Helical Rail Design plays a key role in the board’s unique behavior on the water. The rail profile changes along the length of the board. In the center, the rail is thin and sharp, providing strong edge grip and efficient upwind riding. Under the feet, the rail becomes thicker and inverted, increasing stability, absorbing chop, and improving carving. Toward the tips, the rail thins out again, delivering solid grip and clean pop during take-off.

Smooth and forgiving ride

On the water, the TRAX HRD Lite Tech feels smooth and forgiving. The HRD rail helps reduce spray and keeps the board comfortable and stable across a wide range of conditions, from flat water to choppy seas.

Flex, pop, and landings

The flex has been tuned to deliver reliable pop while remaining forgiving. Increased flex in the tips helps generate lift and improves control during take-offs, while the wide outline and channeled base smooth out landings and maintain stability.

Concave Step Design and bottom shaping

The combination of a classic single concave with a full-length channel creates a locked-in yet smooth glide and allows the board to enter planing easily with strong upwind performance. The bottom shape absorbs chop, enhances grip, and reduces pressure on the back foot, increasing overall comfort.

Lite Tech construction and design

Lite Tech is an F-ONE exclusive construction featuring an integrated TPU element patented by Rossignol Snowboards. Two narrow transparent lines running down the center of the board give it a distinctive look while maintaining the board’s flexibility and durability.
