The FBC Rad Day Bag Pro+ is designed for regular use - during trips to the spot, carrying gear, and storing your foil board between sessions. Developed in collaboration with Balz Muller, it combines a distinctive look with practical features that make day-to-day gear handling much easier.
It is a good option for riders who want to protect their board in transport without wasting time on constant repacking or dealing with an awkward carrying system.
Easy foil board transport
One of the biggest strengths of this bag is the option to carry it on your back. Thanks to the supplied shoulder straps that clip into the attachment points, you can carry the board like a backpack. This is especially useful when you have a longer walk from the parking area to the beach or when you want to keep your hands free for a pump, wing, or extra accessories.
The bag also features multiple carry handles - at the front, rear, rail, center, and top. This makes it easier to lift, carry, and move around in different situations.
Can be used with the foil still mounted
A very practical feature is the large foil opening on the underside of the bag, closed with velcro. It allows you to use the bag while the foil is still attached to the board. This saves time and reduces the risk of scratching the mast, because the opening uses velcro instead of a zipper.
If you often transport your board with the foil already mounted, this is a feature you will appreciate quickly.
Lightweight, durable, and water-resistant material
The bag is made from Hex-Tech material, which combines low weight with solid durability for everyday use. It does not absorb water easily, so getting caught in the rain does not mean the bag will act like a sponge and then leave moisture inside your van, car, or storage area.
That matters not only for convenience, but also for keeping your gear setup cleaner during frequent sessions.
Extra storage for accessories
At the back, there is a large mesh storage compartment where you can keep neoprene boots, gloves, a hat, or a changing towel. It is a versatile storage space that works well both during transport and while you are on the water and want to leave some essentials in one place.
The bag can also be folded and secured by connecting the nose and tail handles. This helps protect the contents of the rear mesh compartment, for example during a passing rain shower.
Better storage conditions for your board
On the underside of the bag there is a breathable vent that helps moisture evaporate and supports drying. This helps keep the board in better condition and reduces moisture build-up inside the bag. It works especially well when the board is hung nose down.
The handles at the nose and tail also make it easier to hang the board in the bag for storage at home, in the garage, or in the van.
