Engineered for speed foiling, the boards feature an optimized aerodynamic deck and bottom.
The lineup offers two distinct shapes – the 75 and 85 – each focused on the high-speed capabilities of hydrofoils, ensuring efficient airflow while in flight. The front rails are shaped thinner, with a generous tuck along the bottom and a subtly domed deck. This design refines airflow, slicing through the wind and reducing resistance.
The rail and deck shape significantly reduce overall volume, aligning them closely with the sleek profiles of fin slalom boards of the same width. This minimized volume aids in sinking the tail during pumping, allowing the foil to load swiftly for nearly instantaneous take-off. Twin parallel cut-outs further enhance board momentum, boosting take-off efficiency.
In the case of a touchdown, particularly at high speeds, the rail tuck paired with twin parallel cut-outs shrinks the wetted surface of the bottom, reducing drag and deceleration. This gives the rider valuable time to regain control and stabilize the flight with precision.
A wide tail enables footstraps to be positioned farther from the board’s centerline, offering enhanced leverage to fine-tune foil pitch with greater accuracy while improving upwind tracking. Conversely, positioning the footstraps more inboard provides tighter control of foil pitch when navigating downwind.
The RF V4 is an evolutionary step from the slower, more forgiving freefoil boards. Their direct feedback and explosive character quickly become indispensable once the transition is made.

Product highlights
CARBON CONSTRUCTION
The lightest designs possible. Carbon also enhances stiffness and responsiveness in the board, making it an ideal choice to seamlessly blend top-notch performance with minimal weight
HIGH SPEED
The new RF V4’s sleek aerodynamic design, paired with its reduced volume and lighter weight, is tuned to minimize the gap between the speed you can achieve and the speed you can comfortably control through the extended flight
COMPETETIVE DESIGN
The PWA permits racers to use just one foil board size. To meet this challenge, two sizes from the RF V4 range have been shaped to handle the full spectrum of PWA Foil Slalom conditions
AERODYNAMIC RAILS
The front rails are shaped thinner, with a generous tuck along the bottom and a subtly domed deck. This design refines airflow, slicing through the wind and reducing resistance
TAIL CUT-OUTS
Twin parallel cut-outs further enhance board momentum, boosting take-off efficiency
WIDE TAIL
During high-speed flight, the foil undergoes significant forces. A wide tail is crucial in this context as it offers substantial leverage over the foil, aiding the rider in maintaining control
Features

- Carbon Construction - Allows the creation of the lightest designs possible. The inherent strength of carbon fibers means we can use less material compared to the fiberglass variant while still achieving exceptional durability. Carbon also enhances stiffness and responsiveness in the board, making it an ideal choice to seamlessly blend top-notch performance with minimal weight
- Aerodynamic Rails - Shaped thin with a profile, the rails reduce air resistance, which improves both speed and control. They also contribute to a substantial decrease in volume and weight, reducing the board's swing weight and enhancing top-end handling
- Rail Tuck - A generous rail tuck optimizes airflow around the board while trimming down overall volume and weight. More importantly, it minimizes the wet surface area during touchdowns, effectively reducing drag and deceleration
- Tail Cut-Outs - The tail cut-outs decrease tail volume, allowing the rider to submerge the tail when pumping, ensuring the foil is efficiently loaded for a quick takeoff. This also reduces the wetted surface area, cutting down drag and boosting acceleration
- Foil Box - The foil box is positioned a mere 3 cm from the tail tip. When combined with other RF V4 features, this rearward placement results in a more explosive take-off
- Wide Tail - During high-speed flight, the foil undergoes significant forces. A wide tail is crucial in this context as it offers substantial leverage over the foil, aiding the rider in maintaining control
