Flagship D/LAB wave sail
Super_Hero D/LAB is the most advanced wave sail in the Duotone Windsurfing range. It is designed for down-the-line wave riding, freestyle, and riders looking for direct response and maximum freedom on the wave.
Its low sailing weight and highly responsive construction allow the sail to stay out of the rider's way, making it easier to focus on board control, line choice, and maneuvers.
Extended wind range
Super_Hero D/LAB is designed to deliver usable power earlier while remaining controlled in stronger wind. According to Duotone, a 5.0 and 4.2 two-sail quiver can cover the range that would normally require three standard wave sail sizes.
An adapted draft position and TT TOP help maintain profile stability and control across changing wind strengths.
Intelligent Carbon XPLY Construction
Carbon XPLY is used in the highest-load areas, including the clew, top, foot, and batten pocket zones. Its low stretch improves response and direct power transmission.
More flexible regular XPLY is used in the central sail body to keep power delivery progressive and controllable.
Monocoque Fusion Body – lower weight, fewer seams
Traditional stitched body panel connections are replaced with Fusion construction. According to Duotone, this saves approximately 150–200 g, eliminates play between the panels, and creates very strong connections.
The One Piece Sleeve further removes a seam from the leading edge and saves approximately another 80 g.
Durable materials and precise tuning
XPLY PLUS in 100 or 150 micron thickness combines low stretch with high UV and puncture resistance. Epoxy Battens, Duratech Foot, and Polyester Webbing improve durability in areas exposed to regular loads.
VTS, VTS Tail Outhaul Specs, HTS 2.0, and Individual Boom Length Indication help riders set downhaul, outhaul, boom length, and harness line position more quickly and consistently.
Sizes and compatibility
Duotone Super_Hero D/LAB 2027 is available in sizes from 3.7 to 5.7 and is designed for RDM PLATINUM or GOLD masts according to the recommendation for each sail size.

- One Piece Sleeve - The one-piece mast sleeve removes the seam at the leading edge, saves approximately 80 g, and improves elasticity in this area
- iROCKET 2.0 - Lightweight aerodynamic batten tensioners are factory-calibrated and secured against unwanted tension changes
- Mini Batten - Short battens support the areas between the main battens and reduce unwanted leech flutter
- Sleeve Opener - The construction above the boom cutout helps the mast slide into the sleeve with reduced friction
- Individual Boom Length Indication - Recommended boom length is printed directly on the mast sleeve
- HTS 2.0 Harnessline Trim System - A printed indicator shows the correct center position for the harness lines
- VTS Tail Outhaul Specs - Individual markings for each sail size help set the correct outhaul with a compatible VTS TAIL boom
- Duratech Foot - The reinforced foot protects seams and material from abrasion against the board deck
- Super-Light Bumper Incl. VTS Slot - The lightweight mast protector with VTS slot helps monitor and repeat the correct downhaul position
- Polyester Webbing Only - Polyester webbing reduces stretch and helps maintain stable luff tension
- Triple Tack Roller 3.0 - The nickel-plated brass triple roller reduces the force required for downhaul adjustment
