The Super_Hero SLS represents the next generation of Duotone’s most versatile wave sail. With the introduction of Carbon XPly, this SLS version sets a new benchmark for lightness and reactivity. It is 450 g lighter than the previous Super_Hero, reaching the ultra-light level of the D/LAB edition.

The development was guided by three main principles: maximum wind range, maximum durability, and the lowest possible sailing weight in your hands.

A key factor is the thickness of the film. In the central panel, a relatively thick material is used to prevent excessive stretch and to maintain a broader usable wind range. This ensures that the sail not only looks light on the scale but, more importantly, remains neutral and easy in your hands even when gusts hit.

The Super_Hero SLS also provides outstanding puncture and UV resistance thanks to XPLY PLUS with 100/150 micron thickness.

The new Carbon XPly construction in high-load areas such as the head, foot, and batten pockets minimizes stretch and ensures efficient power transmission. At the same time, slightly more flexible areas in the body allow controlled release of power. As a result, the Super_Hero SLS offers lightning-fast response, stability in gusts, and an unmatched feeling of lightness on the water.
