The Grip (Tri) was developed as a World Cup Wave board, but with a shape that ensures an exceptionally wide range of use. Thanks to the FULL CUSTOM PVC-WOOD construction, it offers a highly efficient strength-to-weight ratio while being more price-accessible than the D/LAB range.
Compared to standard wave boards, it is 1–2 cm wider, giving stability and flotation comparable to a board 5 liters bigger. At the same time, the increased outline curve allows it to turn as radical as a board 5 liters smaller. The segmented 3-stage rocker makes both bottom and top turns easier, combining a flat mid-section for stability with a progressive tail kick that allows tight top turns and instant acceleration.
The Synced Curves Concept aligns the outline, rocker and rails so the board reacts naturally and predictably in every maneuver. While the Grip (Tri) is versatile, its sweet spot remains European waves and logo-high groundswell – ideal for spots like Klitmøller, the Canary Islands, the North Sea or Kanaha.
