Instead of feeling dull and boring to ride the ULTRA FreeWave offers an exciting ride sensation without sacrificing control or wind range. This is the reason why the FreeWave has been given the ULTRA suffix. The ULTRA FreeWave not only offers excitement when performing or learning new manoeuvres, but is also super exciting in a straight line and therefore puts a smile on your face throughout the entire session.
The next priority was to create the first manoeuvre convertible that works equally great in single- and tri-fin setup and dramatically changes its character:

>> With a single fin setup it now feels a lot more exciting than its predecessor

Instead of the industry-standard semi-custom technology the ULTRA FreeWave is now build in a FULL CUSTOM Technology which is the same way high-end custom boards are made. As a result, both versions are approx. 200g lighter than the previous models, but yet even stronger.

PRO EVA PADS
8-10 mm thick duo density EVA (depending on the board type) provides best dampening comfort and control. The heat pressed diamond grooving pattern protects the EVA against abrasion and provides an extraordinary grip level. Its colour resists dirt and sun-fading
PREMIUM STRAP 2.0
High quality closed cell neoprene for maximum longevity. Only black Lycra coating guarantees maximum comfort as well as maximum durability. The strap features measurement markings to allow you to quickly set up and replicate your individual size
OUTLINE
Parallel outline design provides low drag and boosts control. The wide tail ensures incredible early planing and upwind performance and improves the take off for jumping
MINI SIDE SLOT BOXES
The mini side slot boxes no longer offer any adjustment to prevent misplacing your fins. Now all adjustability for different riding styles and sail sizes is done through the center fin(s) only - Plug & Play and lighter weight!
DECK SHAPE
Reduced dome deck shape results in a more stable/balanced stance, especially in drift & ride conditions
BOTTOM SHAPE
Very smooth and comfortable ride especially in chop thanks to constant V bottom shape with slight double concaves
ROCKER LINE
Faster rocker line boosts planing power especially on the larger sizes
MINI MAST-TRACK
Reduces the weight in the critical nose area. It also reduces the risk to misplace your mast base while still providing just the right amount of length adjustment for all riding styles and sail sizes
