Performance Freeride tuned for lighter riders
The Soleil SLS 2027 is designed specifically for women, with a shape tailored to the biomechanics of lighter riders. Its narrower outline makes edge control more intuitive and gives the board a smoother, more natural feel while maintaining a lively and responsive character.
The overall setup is focused on Performance Freeride, combining easy handling and comfort with the control needed for faster riding, efficient upwind performance, and fluid carving.
SLS construction – lightweight, responsive and smooth
The combination of Textreme Innegra and Biax Carbon creates a lightweight and dynamic Flex Pattern. The board remains responsive while maintaining a more forgiving feel, helping reduce fatigue during longer sessions.
Innegra fibers also improve vibration damping and smooth out the ride through chop. This helps maintain a more stable edge and precise control while reducing the impact transferred to the knees and back.
Soft Flex and Absorption Flex Tips for comfort in chop
Soft Flex uses softer materials, thinner cores, and dedicated geometries to create a smoother and more forgiving board response. The construction absorbs impacts more effectively and reduces harsh feedback when riding through rough water.
Absorption Flex Tips work together with the scoop rocker line to adapt the board to different conditions. In lighter winds, the board stays flatter to support quick planing, while in stronger winds the scoop bends more to increase control and stability. The flexible tips also help cushion landings.
Double Concave Bottom for stability and smooth control
The Double Concave Bottom channels water along two concave lines, increasing grip and stability. This helps the board maintain precise control during regular freeride sessions as well as in rougher water.
The bottom shape also supports smooth planing, responsive turns, and stability during landings, complementing the softer character created by Soft Flex and Absorption Flex Tips.
Space Flex Technology for fluid carving
Space Flex Technology allows the board to adapt more naturally to the water surface. A stiff outer frame works together with flexible tips to improve water release and support early planing.
The dynamic flex is especially noticeable during carving, where the board transitions smoothly through turns while maintaining a light and responsive feel. Reduced swing weight also makes tricks easier to initiate and rotations faster.
Angled Rails and Torsion Flex for efficient edging
Angled Rails increase edge grip, helping improve upwind efficiency and creating a more responsive release during take-off. This makes it easier to hold a strong edge and maintain direction with less effort.
Torsion Flex uses a unique 3D cap shape to control torsion along the board’s length. This improves heel-side grip, direct drive, smooth landings, and overall upwind performance.
