Built for competition Freestyle
The TS Freestyle SLS 2027 is designed specifically for modern competition Freestyle, where the board needs to hold a hard edge, load efficiently and release energy instantly during take-off. The model was developed with Duotone team riders including Freestyle World Champion Finn Flügel and Gianmaria Coccoluto.
Its character is focused on powered unhooked tricks and wakestyle. Hard Flex provides the stiffness required for aggressive load-ups and helps keep the board stable and precise during fast approaches and heavy landings.
Biax Carbon and Textreme Innegra – reactive Flex Pattern
The combination of Biax Carbon and Textreme Innegra creates a highly reactive Flex Pattern. The board loads efficiently while edging and releases that energy instantly at take-off, generating the crisp and aggressive pop needed for technical unhooked maneuvers.
Innegra fibers used in the SLS construction also contribute to vibration damping. This helps the board ride more smoothly through chop while maintaining precise edging and a direct, responsive feel underfoot.
Suspension Flex Cap and Reverse Flex control
Suspension Flex Cap allows the center of the board to remain very stiff while reinforced tip frames maintain high torsional stiffness. This construction minimizes Reverse Flex during hard landings, helping the board remain stable and keeping power transfer direct under heavy load.
The flatter center section also creates a more level stance in boots. This improves connection and control during powered approaches, hard load-ups and demanding landings.
Bottom shape designed for grip and landings
The Single Diffusor Bottom uses a central concave to direct water into the tip channels. This supports stability and control at speed while also helping to smooth out hard touchdowns.
The Step Double Concave Wide Channel further increases grip and pop. Deep concaves and wide channels help the board maintain strong edge hold with or without fins, while keeping it stable in rougher water and after heavy landings.
Deep tip channels for maximum traction
Deep, precisely shaped tip channels provide the traction needed for hard edging before take-off. They allow the rider to build more tension through the edge while keeping the board locked on its line during high-speed approaches.
Combined with the Hard Flex and reactive SLS construction, this creates the direct, powerful response required for competition Freestyle and technical unhooked riding.
Inline Sliders – precise stance adjustment
The TS Freestyle SLS 2027 uses Inline Sliders to provide a durable mounting system and precise stance adjustment. The setup is optimized for Freestyle riding and can be used with both boots and straps.
Accurate stance positioning gives the rider the leverage needed for strong edging while maintaining a direct connection to the board during take-off and landing.
