Huge usable wind range

One of the key strengths of the Evo D/LAB is its broad usable wind range. Advanced frame rigidity and refined canopy tension help keep the kite stable and predictable at the top end, even in powered and gusty conditions.

At the same time, the efficient Aluula D/TX airframe generates strong low-end power and fast acceleration in lighter winds, without sacrificing agility or responsiveness.

Efficient upwind performance

The clean canopy profile and efficient forward flight characteristics help the kite maintain speed and line tension while tracking upwind.

This allows the rider to regain ground more efficiently after jumps or loops and maintain better positioning on the water.

6-Point Bridle and frame stability

The new 6-Point Bridle System supports the kite frame and helps keep the leading edge stable and compact under load.

It also promotes smooth and direct power transmission, expands the usable wind range and helps maintain reliable stability in strong gusts.

MOD 3S and refined canopy construction

The MOD 3S canopy material is designed to improve strength and stability. According to Duotone, it offers three times the tear resistance and significantly less stretch compared with previous generations.

The canopy construction is complemented by a Single Stitch Trailing Edge, which reduces weight and flutter while helping maintain a cleaner aerodynamic profile.

Weight-saving construction details

The Evo D/LAB uses Micro Batten Construction, which Duotone states is 40% lighter than regular versions. It contributes to the overall weight-reduction concept while maintaining durability and performance.

The Micro Loop Connections are also 40% smaller than those used in regular models, further reducing weight around the leading edge.

Reinforced structural connections

Fusion Strut 2.0 connects the leading edge and struts with a single connection, increasing frame stability and supporting a precise, dynamic flying feel.

The High-Pressure Closing & Intersegment Seam strengthens the segment connections and helps the kite maintain its shape under high pressure. Leading Edge Intersegment Seam Construction further increases frame strength, stiffness and direct flight stability.

Secure and clean line connections

The Kook Proof Connectors are designed to prevent incorrect line attachment during kite setup.

Anti Snag webbing helps stop the lines from catching around the kite tips, making waterstarts easier and improving overall safety.
