Hybrid Flex Strut

Hybrid Flex Strut further refines the kite’s behaviour through turns. Precisely tuned proportions of Penta TX and STW70 provide smoother handling while supporting faster and more dynamic turning response

The proportion of the more flexible material in the tip struts is adjusted for each size and decreases as kite size increases. This helps maintain the intended structural behaviour across the entire size range

Exceptional drift for down-the-line riding

Drift remains one of the defining characteristics of Neo SLS. Even during aggressive riding with reduced line tension, the kite stays composed and follows the rider down the line without generating unwanted pull

This allows the rider to focus on the board and the wave instead of constantly managing the kite. It is particularly valuable on fast reef breaks, in technical onshore conditions and during powerful surfing where line tension and riding direction change quickly

Direct and precise steering

The stiffer Neo SLS airframe delivers very fast response to bar input. The rider can clearly sense the kite’s position and make precise corrections during bottom turns, direction changes and fast transitions between wave sections

Neo SLS remains balanced and predictable, allowing its dynamic character to be used confidently even in heavily powered conditions

Wide wind range

The rigid and well-balanced airframe provides stability across a wide wind range. Neo SLS remains predictable from lighter conditions through to fully powered Wave sessions

Sizes from 5 to 10 m² should be inflated to 9 PSI, while sizes 11 and 12 m² should be inflated to 8 PSI

Refined construction and line connections

Double-V Pigtails distribute loads at the line attachment points, reducing concentrated stress and limiting structural distortion

Leading Edge Intersegment Seam Construction increases airframe strength and stiffness while supporting stable flight characteristics

Micro Loop Connection is 40% smaller than on regular models, while Micro Batten Construction is 40% lighter than the standard solution. Both are part of the overall weight-reduction concept.
