Join usThe Trust Bar has long been known as Duotone’s most versatile and user-friendly bar. It has been upgraded with new FLITE99 2.0+ frontlines (1.5 mm) and FLITE99 2.0 backlines (1.3 mm), as well as a monofil coating that reduces friction and abrasion. This makes the lines more durable, less prone to tangling, and ensures a smoother feel when steering your kite.
At the heart of the bar is the Iron Heart VI Click-In safety system. It allows you to reassemble the system as easily as fastening a seatbelt, with a green indicator showing when it’s locked properly. Combined with a friction bearing, the bar automatically untwists after rotations, keeping your setup clean at all times.
A unique feature of the Trust Bar is its depower system built around the DPL24 depower line. This custom Dyneema line with a 24-mesh cover minimizes wear and offers smooth, controlled depower with excellent feedback in your hands. The setup includes a safety bungee line and a Vario Cleat with storage clip, keeping the system neat and functional – particularly helpful for shorter riders who often struggle to reach a standard cleat.
The Trust Bar is also highly adaptable. Both line length and bar width can be adjusted, making it suitable for different riding styles and kite sizes. With the optional low V setting, it works not only with Duotone kites but also with most other brands.
Additional refinements include minimalistic pigtails with sleeving only where needed, a metal V-Distributor for simple assembly and disassembly, and a suicide ring option for advanced freestyle riders. The EVA grip is made with 20% BLOOM algae additive, reducing the use of virgin raw materials while maintaining comfort and durability.
The Trust Bar 2026 is sold without a chicken loop. Riders can choose from five kits to match their style:
- Freeride Kit – small chicken loop and short leash
- Rope Harness Kit – reinforced loop for rope harnesses and short leash
- Freestyle Kit – large loop and long leash
- Wakestyle Kit – extra-large loop and long leash
