The Team Series board has received some big updates, the Gambler is being phased out of the Duotone range and the designers have combined the previous Team Series with the Gambler to create the ultimate hardcore freestyle/wakestyle board. The Grind Base means you can use this board intensively, and the bottom shape has been updated to make it even more durable. For freestylers the pop is amazing, the Carbon Web adds dynamism and responsiveness to the board, making it seem even more reactive. The Suspension Flex Cap also minimises reverse flex when landing, and the Single Diffusor bottom helps soften any landing, so when you go in on a so-called full, you'll be sure to land your trick every time. With plenty of grip from the deep channels at the ends of the board, you can cruise with short fins for freestyle or just without when you want to get into obstacles. The Team Series is the board to have in your quiver if you want to do the latest tricks or hit obstacles. Look no further, there's no point!
Product highlights
Explosive pop due to carbon web
The Team Series features a Carbon Web in the layup; this material adds response to the board and fine-tunes the flex pattern for maximum pop
Minimum reverse flex due to suspension flex cap
When landing freestyle tricks, reverse flex can be a real issue; the Team Series minimises this with its Suspension Flex Cap technology
Soft landings provided by the single diffusor bottom
Unique single diffusor bottom shape helps break the surface tension of the water, making landing smoother, even at high speeds
Massive grip ensured due to the deep tip channels
You can ride the Team Series with or without fins; the large tip channels provide plenty of grip, making it perfect for the park
Very durable thanks to the grind base
When you hit features, you need a board that can take the abuse; the Grind Base ensures your board will look fresh for longer
Inline sliders and aboot optimised stance
Inline Sliders mean you can flip your board around midseason to even out the wear on the base, and the Boot Optimised Stance ensures a perfect connection to the board
Features
Suspension flex cap
The brand new suspension Flex Cap makes it possible to create a very stiff center of the board, whilst keeping a lot of torsional stiffness thought a stiff frame at the tips of the board. Pop and control is guaranteed, whilst energy during landings is absorbed by the board - and not your knees. Additionally it is possible to have a flatter center, resulting in your boots sitting flatter on the board, offering that little extra bit of even more control. But the main and most important news is : reverse flex during landings is nearly eliminated
Torsion Flex
The special 3D Cap shape allows for light turning along the long axis of the board. This gives more edge grip on the heel side, smooth landings, a direct feel of the water surface and better downwind performance. A solution invented by Duotone
Premium construction
Gives a board a faster and even more progressive flex for better pop and reduced weight
Carbon web
The use of Carbon Web is an important improvement from 2020 especially for competition boards like the Duotone Team Series and the Duotone Jaime. It offers the rider more torsional stiffness, therefore offering good pop and very precise edge control. Carbon Web is used to build light, yet very robust and durable boards, without losing any of the dynamic response needed for Freestyle and Wakestyle maneuvers. A great compromise for Freestyle boards at a lower price point, without compromising performance!
Step double concave
The Team Series has a massive pop and absolute controlled landings. The step double wide channel in able to deliver massive grip - with or without fins
Hard flex
The most aggressive flex and incredible pop. Hard flex generates dynamic power development when jumping and more stiffness for better control on hard lnadings
