Carbon Mast SLS 2.0
The Mast SLS 2.0 is positioned between Duotone’s aluminium mast range and the premium D/LAB line. It combines high stiffness and efficiency with a more versatile and accessible performance character suitable for a wide range of foiling disciplines.
The new generation features a refined profile and tapered mast shape designed to improve hydrodynamic efficiency without compromising structural stiffness.
D/LAB 2.0-inspired profile
The updated mast profile takes its design concept from the D/LAB 2.0 range. Its geometry supports smoother acceleration, reduced drag, and a more refined ride feel across different foil disciplines.
This helps the foil maintain speed with lower energy loss while providing smooth and predictable control.
Tapered design and reduced drag
The new tapered mast shape reduces wetted surface area and hydrodynamic drag.
The chord measures 120 mm and increases to 135 mm close to the plate, while thickness increases from 18 to 20 mm. This geometry is designed to balance hydrodynamic efficiency with reliable stiffness.
One-piece mast and plate construction
The Mast SLS 2.0 uses a one-piece mast and plate construction. This reduces additional connections in this critical area, increasing overall rigidity and creating a more direct link between rider, board, and foil.
The integrated construction also reduces drag during take-off and touchdowns.
Direct load transfer
The carbon construction and high stiffness provide efficient load transfer between the board and foil.
This gives the rider more precise feedback from the foil and a more immediate response during turns, pumping, and high-speed riding.
3BS+ System – maximum compatibility
The Mast SLS 2.0 features a 3BS+ insert that allows the use of the additional fourth screw.
This ensures compatibility with all current Duotone front wings and tails using the 4th-screw system, while also preparing the mast for future components developed around the same standard.
Three lengths for different applications
The Mast SLS 2.0 is available in 76, 84, and 92 cm lengths. The range covers applications from Pump and Prone Foiling to all-round Wing Foiling and higher-speed riding.
