Versatile mid-length performance for wing foiling
The Skybrid SLS 2027 is based on the proven shape of the 2027 Skybrid D/LAB, bringing its concept into an SLS construction. It is designed as a versatile wing foil platform for riders looking for a balance of easy take-off, efficient glide, and stable control at higher speeds.
Its compact mid-length proportions balance the surface area needed for early take-off with maneuverability in flight. In addition to wing foiling, the board is also optimized for parawinging and Foil Assist use.
Moderate Rocker Line – smooth acceleration and control
The Moderate Rocker Line is tuned to help the board accelerate smoothly before take-off while maintaining control and clear feedback at higher speeds.
Its balanced rocker profile supports efficient lift onto foil and stable handling while the board is still running on the water.
Rounded Rail Bevels – earlier take-off and easier pumping
Increased Rounded Rail Bevels reduce the planing surface in contact with the water. This creates a cleaner release and allows the board to lift onto foil earlier and more efficiently.
The geometry also improves touchdowns and pumping efficiency. The board can recover more smoothly after touching the water and requires less effort to release from the surface again.
Lower Rail Apex and Wider Stance Area – stable rider position
A lower Rail Apex enhances stability by optimizing rail engagement and improving the overall balance of the board.
At the same time, the Wider Stance Area extends towards the rails. The larger platform underfoot improves weight distribution and creates a more secure, planted position during take-off, flight, and maneuvers.
Diamond Tail – stability without restricting turns
The Diamond Tail provides a wide and stable platform at the rear of the board, supporting control during take-off and riding.
Its geometry also improves clearance when the board is banked into a turn, allowing greater maneuverability without sacrificing the stability of the wider tail platform.
Biax Carbon PVC Sandwich – lightweight and stiff SLS construction
The Skybrid SLS uses Biax Carbon PVC Sandwich Construction. Its lightweight and stiff structure minimizes unwanted board flex and provides efficient power transfer between the rider and foil.
The direct response improves feedback during pumping, acceleration, and maneuvers, maintaining the performance-oriented character of the board.
Long Carbon Foil Tracks – precise foil positioning
Long Carbon Foil Tracks provide an extended adjustment range for precise foil positioning, allowing the balance of the setup to be adapted to different foils, riding styles, and rider preferences.
Rear Openings make foil installation and removal faster and more convenient by allowing easier access to the mounting hardware.
Thin Deck Pad – more direct feedback
The 3 mm Thin Deck Pad minimizes the distance between the rider’s feet and the board structure. This creates a more connected riding feel and provides more direct feedback from the board and foil.
Multiple Footstrap Options further allow the stance to be adjusted for individual balance, control, and comfort.
Five sizes from 60 to 100 litres
The Skybrid SLS 2027 is available in five sizes ranging from 60 L / 5’5” to 100 L / 6’1”. This compact mid-length range provides options for different rider weights, applications, and preferred levels of volume.
