What the Tail D/LAB is

The D/LAB Carbon Tail is the rear fuselage section that connects directly to your D/LAB front wing. It defines the overall riding characteristics of your foil - influencing stability, turning radius and high-speed control. Once assembled, the system delivers the visual and structural feel of a single-piece carbon glider.

Hidden connection under the mast

A key design feature is the “invisible” M6 bolt hidden beneath the mast. This eliminates the extra exposed bolt heads commonly found on comparable semi-glider foil systems. The result is a cleaner setup, improved flow and fewer external parts.

Available lengths and riding characteristics

The D/LAB tails are available in three lengths, corresponding to classic fuselage equivalents once connected to a front wing:

• 37 cm - equivalent to a 60 cm fuselage

• 43 cm - equivalent to a 66 cm fuselage

• 47 cm - equivalent to a 70 cm fuselage

How they ride:

• 37 cm: more dynamic feel, tighter turns and a more reactive setup

• 43 cm: balanced mix of manoeuvrability and control

• 47 cm: maximum stability at high speeds

Important note about the 47 cm version

The 47 cm Tail D/LAB is specifically optimized for the Blitz D/LAB front wing, where maximum high-speed stability and control are essential. Although it is compatible with other D/LAB foils, this version is sold as a separate product and is not included within this Tail D/LAB (37 or 43 cm) offering. The 47 cm version must be purchased individually.

Carbon construction and stiffness

The full carbon construction ensures durability and low maintenance. Depending on the length, the tail connects via two M8 plus one M6 bolts (37 cm & 43 cm) or two M6 bolts (47 cm), creating a highly rigid assembly that performs similarly to a true one-piece glider system.
