Duotone Paradox SLS - foil board for parawing and freefly
Duotone Paradox SLS is built for riders who want to get on foil efficiently, stash the parawing or flag out the wing, and keep using the energy of wind, swell or bumps. It is a foil board focused on early take-off, efficient pumping and a direct connection with the foil under your feet.
Shape focused on early take-off
The pulled-in surfy outline, step tail and pronounced rail bevels reduce the contact area between the bottom of the board and the water. This makes it easier to release the board from the surface and pump onto foil, even with less power in the parawing or wing. The low rocker improves glide and helps maintain speed between sections, which is especially useful for downwind and freefly riding.
Better foil feel under your feet
The thinner profile and recessed stance area give you a closer connection to the foil. You stand nearer to the working axis of the setup, so the board reacts faster and gives you more precise control through turns. This is especially useful in uneven water, where quick reactions, a stable stance and smooth transitions from one bump to the next make a real difference.
Low weight and quick response
The lightweight Biax Carbon construction helps reduce swing weight, meaning less inertia in the nose and tail. In practice, the Paradox SLS feels more responsive when pumping and changing direction. The reduced nose and tail area helps you stay in control without the board feeling heavy during active riding.
Who is the Duotone Paradox SLS for?
Duotone Paradox SLS is best suited to more advanced riders who already have foiling experience and want to progress into parawing, wing freefly, downwind or foil assist. It is a good choice if you mostly ride strapless, know how to pump the foil actively and want a board that takes off early while keeping a surfy feel on bumps.
