Wave-focused SLS performance

The Float SLS expands Duotone’s wave-oriented wing range with a construction focused on weight reduction, responsiveness and stability. Designed for riders who prioritize wave riding and freefly sessions, it delivers a very clean and controlled feel while carving or letting the wing drift downwind.

PentaTX frame – lighter and stiffer

The Float SLS uses 135 g PentaTX material in the leading edge and strut. Compared to standard 160 g Dacron, PentaTX offers significantly higher tear resistance and reduced elongation, allowing the frame to remain lighter while maintaining structural strength.

The reduced leading-edge diameter further lowers drag and improves the wing’s responsiveness. Combined, these features create a more direct and efficient power transfer.

Wave-oriented profile and handling

A low sweep angle and forward-oriented profile help stabilize the draft position and deliver smooth sheeting behavior. The power comes on slightly front-handed, which makes the wing feel intuitive and easy to control while riding waves.

Lower-angle wingtips improve drift and keep the wing balanced when depowered. This helps the wing stay stable and light in the rider’s hands while focusing on carving lines on the swell.

Minimalist lightweight design

Like the standard Float, the Float SLS follows a minimalist concept: no windows and a boom-only configuration. This reduces overall weight and keeps the wing clean and efficient in flight, while maintaining direct handling feedback.

Performance on the water

The Float SLS combines smooth power delivery, excellent drift stability and reduced drag. This allows riders to maintain control through variable wind conditions, improve riding angles and keep speed on the wave when transitioning between sections.

This product is sold without a boom. To complete the setup, the Fusion Boom must be purchased separately.
