Dakine C-2 Harness - kiteboarding waist harness

Dakine C-2 Harness in the kite version is a waist harness designed for riders who need stable back support, a secure fit and comfort while riding with a kite. It comes with a kite-specific spreader bar, so the harness is ready for a standard kiteboarding hook setup.

The C-2 uses an Adaptive Fit Composite back panel with a Texon® counter/stiffener. This material reacts to heat and pressure, allowing the harness to gradually shape itself to the rider’s body. The result is a more personal fit, fewer pressure points and better load distribution during riding.

Support and comfort under load

The honeycomb mesh reinforced shell provides structured support without unnecessary bulk. It helps distribute the pull from the kite, which is useful on longer tacks, in stronger wind, during jumps and when riding powered.

Inside, the Featherweight ES foam molded interior improves comfort against the body, while memory foam pressure point relief zones help reduce pressure in sensitive areas. This makes the C-2 suitable for freeride sessions as well as more dynamic riding.

Kite-specific spreader bar and secure closure

The Dual Posi-Lock buckle sliding bar system helps keep the harness closed securely and holds the spreader bar in the right position. The T-Series sliding spreader bar and Freedom Shape spreader bar pad support freedom of movement while keeping the hook controlled during riding.

Independent primary and secondary power belts let you fine-tune the tension and fit. This makes it easier to achieve solid hold without over-tightening the harness.
