Purpose and overall feel
The Cabrinha Code has always been built around versatility. It is a wing foil board that does not lock you into one style of riding. In the latest version, the new shape and updated volume balance improve how the board behaves on the water and make take-offs easier. It releases more cleanly, transitions into flight more smoothly, and feels more natural once you are up and riding.
This is a model designed to combine ease of use with real performance. Smaller sizes offer more responsiveness and control for freestyle and wave riding, mid-sizes focus on efficiency and allround use, while larger sizes bring the stability and balance that make progression easier.
Take-offs and getting on foil
One of the main strengths of the Cabrinha Code is how easy it is to launch. The high volume gives solid support during starts, while the compact shape helps the board feel smaller and more agile once flying. This balance is especially useful if you want faster progression or one board that can handle different sessions and conditions.
The new smooth curved outline also improves water release. This helps the board move more efficiently from the take-off phase into flight, and during touchdowns it recovers onto the foil more quickly without losing as much speed or flow.
Rail shape and touchdown behavior
A big part of the board’s feel comes from its rail design. The side-cut beveled rails transition into a rounder outline, which improves water release during take-off and reduces resistance when the rail touches the surface. In practice, this means less drag, fewer harsh reactions on touchdowns, and a smoother overall ride.
The refined curves of the outline also help the board pop back onto foil more easily after touching down. This is a useful feature not only for beginners, but also for more advanced riders working on maneuvers, jumps, or wave riding.
Tail shape and control
The new thumb tail also plays an important role in how the board performs. It creates a stable platform to help you get up and moving, while still leaving enough surface area to support recovery after jumps or when coming off the foil. It is a shape that works well for both controlled cruising and more dynamic riding.
The Code is meant to be easy to ride, but not limiting as your skills improve. That is why it blends stability with maneuverability in a way that supports progression without pushing you too quickly toward a more specialized board.
Construction
The board is built around a lightweight, buoyant EPS core, which helps keep weight low while providing solid float. The Apex Pro Carbon construction with full carbon wrap increases stiffness and responsiveness, giving the board a more direct feel and better energy transfer during pumping and maneuvers.
Additional reinforcements such as the PVC reinforced deck and double PVC/glass stringers improve durability and structural strength. The full EVA deck pad provides secure grip and good comfort underfoot.
Setup and included accessories
The Cabrinha Code gives you the option of a 2-strap or 3-strap setup, with different angle positions to suit your riding style and preferred stance. This makes it easier to dial in the board to match how you ride.
Included with the board are a board bag, 4 pcs M8x30 mm mounting bolts, and 2 lockable T-nut assemblies. Straps are sold separately.
