Carbon construction and predictable flex

The construction uses Japanese Toray structural carbon together with an A-grade Paulownia wood core. This combination gives the board high stiffness, low weight and very fast feedback. It reacts immediately to rider input, transfers energy efficiently and keeps its performance character even when loaded hard.

An important part of the design is the continuous core profile, which helps create a more predictable flex pattern. In practice, this means that even though the Vapor Apex is clearly performance-oriented, it does not feel random or difficult to read. The rider gets a consistent response and better timing control during take-off and high-speed riding.

Stiff tips and controlled landings

The stiffer tip flex pattern has been developed to improve grip, confidence and reliability in high load situations. That is especially important in Big Air, where the board needs to hold strong right before take-off and stay composed under heavy pressure.

The bottom shape combines a centre double concave with more aggressive single concave mid-channel tips. This helps improve tracking, adds control and smooths out landings. As a result, the board stays fast and precise, but still offers better management and control when coming back down.

For riders aiming higher

The Vapor Apex is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders who are focused on modern Big Air and want a more technical, direct board feel. It will suit riders who like to ride fast, load hard off the edge and expect strong stability when powered.

The deck also features centred grab rails, which make board-off maneuvers easier and more secure. The board comes supplied with 5 cm fins, a handle and mounting screws, so it includes the essential hardware needed to get set up and ride.
