Better upwind ability and more control

The Stylus has been designed to perform especially well when riding upwind. An asymmetrical stance helps improve grip, control and early planing in lighter wind. This becomes especially useful when you want to hold your line and move around the spot more efficiently despite limited wind strength.

Additional support comes from the centre rail channel, which improves edging performance, and from the tip channels, which help maintain directional control. Together, these elements make the board feel stable, predictable and effective in light wind freeride conditions.

Stiffness and support where it matters

The construction uses UD basalt to support the low rocker design and help maintain the right amount of stiffness for this type of board. Cabrinha also reinforced the thickness and strength underfoot and into the tips, which helps the board feel more solid and consistent when loaded.

The stiff tip platform improves tracking and efficiency, which is especially important in lighter wind. As a result, the Stylus not only planes early, but also stays composed and tracks cleanly without feeling vague under pressure.

Paulownia core and practical design

At the heart of the board is an A-grade Paulownia wood core. This is a proven construction material that offers a good balance of durability, weight and natural flex. It helps the board maintain a predictable feel on the water and supports comfort across a wide range of freeride conditions.
