Wing character
The Mantis Apex builds on the well-known Mantis platform, developed for riders who demand maximum rigidity and consistent behaviour across the entire wind range. The use of Aluula Gold on the leading edge and strut significantly stiffens the frame and boosts overall reactivity.
On-water behaviour
The wing reacts quickly and remains stable even with heavy depower. The low dihedral and refined front-handle balance make it predictable during freefly — especially in surf and downwind riding. The progressively twisted wingtips add forgiveness and improve sheeting control.
Control and handles
The wide composite handles with indexed mounts increase stiffness and eliminate handle rotation. This gives the wing a direct, predictable feel when generating power and when flying neutral on the wave, making precise positioning easier.
Construction and materials
