The Cabrinha Vision has been designed as a wing with broad all-round appeal. Compact outline and better balance
One of the key features of this model is the compact aspect design. This reduces the wingspan, which improves balance and makes the wing easier to handle. The shorter span is especially noticeable during turns, pumping and riding in more variable conditions, where quick and readable reactions make a real difference.
The high dihedral and swept wingtips also support stability and help the wing maintain a more controlled and predictable feel in flight. These details improve comfort on the water and give riders more confidence, especially when working on technique.
Smooth power delivery and early take-off
The Vision uses medium full profiles that help create smooth power delivery and stable performance. This profile shape avoids a jerky power feel and makes the wing easier to control through different phases of the ride.
Optimised canopy tension also plays an important role. Cabrinha tuned the canopy so the wing builds power efficiently and helps you get up on foil earlier. In practice, this makes pumping more effective and helps with take-off, especially when the conditions are less than ideal.
Stiff frame and direct handling
Several design elements work together to give the Vision its controlled and precise feel. The 3-stage Hybrid leading edge construction increases stiffness while helping reduce weight. The reinforced double centre section adds further stiffness and strength to the main structure.
A very important feature is the rigid single boom. This setup gives more direct handling and makes hand placement easier and more precise during riding and transitions. If you like a clear and connected feel between you and the wing, the Vision delivers that well.
The convex strut also improves overall frame stiffness and gives better support to the canopy near the trailing edge. This helps the wing hold its shape more consistently under load.
Visibility and durable materials
The canopy is built with Teijin D2, with Teijin-75 panels in the trailing edge area. This material combination supports durability and stable canopy performance during regular use. The radial panel layout also helps create a cleaner and stronger canopy structure.
On the water, you will also appreciate the TruView window panel, which improves visibility. Better sightlines matter during normal freeride sessions as well as during maneuvers, when you want to stay more aware of your surroundings.
