Versatile Flux character
AERYN Flux S-Glass uses the same versatile Flux outline in a construction based on S-Glass and bamboo. It is designed for riders looking for maximum glide and strong low-end performance without sacrificing dynamic, aggressive turning.
The manufacturer describes its feel as forgiving and lively underfoot, making the Flux S-Glass well suited to freeride and broad all-round use.
Bamboo + S-Glass Sandwich
The construction combines bamboo layers with bi-axial S-Glass around a feather-light EPS core. This layout is designed to provide enough stiffness for confident board control while retaining a more forgiving flex than a carbon construction.
Bi-Axial S-Glass gives the board a lively flex with sufficient stiffness for freeride sessions, while bamboo forms part of the sandwich structure developed to balance stiffness, durability and value.
Lowered deck and control in flight
The lowered deck reduces thickness directly under the rider’s feet, creating a more connected feel. The overall geometry is designed around balance, control and efficiency.
Rider stance and US rail placement are precisely tuned to reduce inertia and maintain ideal balance in flight. AERYN’s proprietary positioning algorithm creates a compact, responsive feel for precise board control.
Optimized rails and refined hull
Optimized rails improve stability while minimizing drag during touchdowns, helping the board reconnect with the water smoothly and predictably.
The refined hull features a strategically positioned step that reduces resistance around the foil plate area and improves acceleration before takeoff. The shape is focused on efficient speed build-up and a smooth transition onto the foil.
Lightweight core and reinforced high-load areas
The Feather-Light EPS Core helps reduce swing weight, contributing to quicker board response. Fiberglass stringers add further strength and stiffness to the structure.
Footstrap plugs and foil tracks are reinforced with fiberglass in high-load areas. The reinforced foil tracks are designed to keep the foil position secure under load.
An Impact-Resistant PU Foam layer improves impact resistance, while the Scratch-Resistant PU Coat helps protect the outer surface against scratches.
