Versatile Flux character
AERYN Flux is designed as the most versatile board in the brand’s range. Its character combines efficient glide and strong low-end performance with an aggressive, responsive feel through turns. The entire design focuses on balance, control and efficiency from the first acceleration through to stable flight on the foil.
Lowered deck and connected board feel
The lowered deck reduces the thickness directly under the rider’s feet, creating a more connected and direct feel. This helps the rider better sense the board’s reactions and maintain precise control.
Rider stance, US rail placement and the overall geometry are carefully tuned to reduce inertia and maintain ideal balance in flight. AERYN uses its proprietary positioning algorithm to create a compact and responsive platform designed for precise riding.
Optimized rails and stepped hull
The optimized rails improve stability while reducing drag during touchdowns. This helps the board reconnect with the water more smoothly and predictably.
The refined hull uses a strategically positioned step to reduce resistance around the foil plate area and improve acceleration before takeoff. The result is a design focused on efficient progression from displacement to flight.
Carbon sandwich construction
Flux uses a sophisticated combination of reinforcing materials. The Carbon + PVC + Kevlar Sandwich is designed to provide a balance of stiffness and structural strength. Bi-Axial Carbon further supports strength and stiffness, while Carbon-Kevlar is used to improve impact resistance.
Inside, the lightweight EPS core is reinforced with fiberglass stringers. Fiberglass reinforcement is also used around the footstrap plugs and foil tracks, strengthening areas exposed to concentrated loads.
An Impact-Resistant PU Foam layer adds protection against impacts, while the Scratch-Resistant PU Coat helps protect the board’s outer surface from scratches.
