Universal board nose protection

JP-Australia Universal Nose Protector is a practical nose guard designed to reduce the risk of damage in one of the most exposed areas of the board. It is especially useful for windsurfing beginners, schools, rental centres and riders who often transport their gear or place the board on hard surfaces.

The protector is made from lightweight layered EVA with a hard PVC outer layer. This combination adds protection without unnecessary weight and helps absorb impacts, dents and scratches that can happen during daily use.

3-piece construction for different boards

The set consists of three parts: one left side piece, one right side piece and one middle section. This layout makes it easier to adapt the protector to different nose widths, outlines and board shapes.

The middle part is positioned in the centre of the board nose, while the side pieces can be rotated and adjusted parallel to the board outline. This makes the Universal Nose Protector suitable for many JP-Australia boards and other boards with a similar nose shape.

Layered impact-absorbing construction

The hard 2 mm PVC top layer helps prevent scratches and spreads impact force over a larger area. Underneath, different EVA layers with varied density and hardness work together to absorb impact energy.

The 5 mm hard EVA layer provides stable support, the 4 mm soft EVA layer helps absorb shocks, and the 10 mm medium-density EVA layer helps distribute pressure. In practice, the protector reduces the risk of local nose damage caused by mast, boom or ground contact.
