Longer length for bigger wings
The FBC Wing Leash & Karabina - Long is built for riders who use larger wings or prefer the feel of a longer leash. This version measures 170 cm, giving you more freedom when moving and repositioning the wing, especially while in the water. In practice, this extra length is often preferred with wings above 6 m, where a shorter leash can feel more restrictive.
It is a good solution for riders who want more room to handle the wing without the leash limiting movement.
Dyneema construction with anti-snatch technology
The core of this leash is its Dyneema outer line combined with a carefully selected internal bungee. These two elements work together to absorb the load created when the wing is released, giving the leash a smoother and more controlled feel. FBC refers to this as its anti-snatch technology.
On the water, that means less abrupt pulling and a more predictable response during use.
Dyneema Defender treatment
All FBC leashes are treated with the brand’s Dyneema Defender finish. This helps prevent the elasticated Dyneema from sticking to Velcro and other materials, which improves usability and helps keep the leash working cleanly over time.
Swivel karabina included
The leash comes with a swivel karabina, which helps reduce twisting and keeps the whole system working more smoothly during a session. This becomes especially useful during repeated manoeuvres, wing handling changes, and more active riding, where a fixed connection can start to twist and tangle.
It is a simple but very useful addition to the full setup.
Dual safety attachment option
