Inflatable windsurfing board for learning and progression
Exocet Neon HP Inflatable Windsurf 20 PSI is an inflatable freeride windsurfing board for riders learning the basics or developing their planing skills. It combines stability, easy handling and a more responsive feel underfoot than basic inflatable constructions. It is a practical choice for windsurfers who want a board that is easier to transport and store than a hard board.
Stability for uphauling and first manoeuvres
With 251 litres of volume and a well-balanced shape, the board helps with uphauling, balance and smooth acceleration. Neon HP gives you stable support underfoot, so you can focus on stance, sail handling and directional control.
Natural stance before and during planing
The centre of gravity is positioned around the front footstraps. This supports a natural stance even in lighter wind and non-planing conditions. When the board starts to plane, your feet are already close to the right position, making the transition into faster sailing smoother and easier to control.
Pintail, wide tail and sharp PVC rails
The pintail outline supports early lift and efficient glide, while the wide tail section adds stability through gybes. This helps you stay in control when exiting turns and makes it easier to continue planing after a manoeuvre. Sharp PVC rails release water cleanly, reduce drag and improve planing performance.
Two rear fins and centre fin
Instead of one long rear fin, the board uses two shorter fins at the tail. This setup supports earlier planing, improves control and makes practice in shallow water easier. The centre fin can be used in lighter wind when you need better upwind tracking and less sideways drift.
Deck layout designed for windsurfing
The full directional-groove EVA deck pad provides traction across a large part of the deck. Diamond-pattern 3D EVA zones under the footstraps improve grip during faster sailing. Raised EVA ridges near the mast base help with foot positioning, while the traction disc under the baseplate protects the insert and helps prevent overtightening.
High Pressure Fusion Composite Dropstitch construction
Neon HP is built with High Pressure Fusion Composite Dropstitch and can be inflated up to 20 psi. The higher pressure improves stiffness, responsiveness and durability. On the water, the board reacts more directly to rider input, accelerates with better support and gives a more controlled feel when planing.
The board comes with an ergonomic backpack compatible with the Unifiber Wheel Base, making transport and storage easier.
