Exocet Neon SL Inflatable Windsurf 15 PSI is an inflatable freeride windsurfing board designed for beginners and progressing riders who want to learn the basics and develop planing skills. It is stable, easy to handle and practical to transport, making it a good option for windsurfers who do not want to store or carry a hard board but still expect a responsive feel underfoot.
Stability for starts and basic skills
With 251 litres of volume and a well-balanced shape, the board helps with uphauling, balance and first manoeuvres. It gives you solid support underfoot, so you can focus on stance, sail handling and directional control instead of constantly fighting for stability.
Natural stance and easier planing
The centre of gravity is positioned around the front footstrap inserts, promoting a natural stance even in lighter wind. When the board starts to plane, your feet are already close to the right position - no nervous stance adjustment is needed to stay in control.
Pintail, wide tail and sharp PVC rails
The pintail outline and wide tail section help the board generate early lift and maintain stability through gybes. Long sharp PVC rails improve water release, reduce drag and support efficient planing. This makes the Neon SL more windsurf-oriented than a typical inflatable recreational board.
Two rear fins and centre fin
Instead of one long rear fin, the board uses two shorter fins at the tail. This setup supports earlier planing, gives good control and makes sailing in shallower water easier. The centre fin can be used in lighter conditions when you need better upwind tracking and less sideways drift.
Deck layout designed for windsurfing
The full directional-groove EVA deck pad provides secure traction across a large part of the deck. A traction disc under the baseplate protects the insert and helps prevent overtightening. The board also includes footstrap inserts, so you can add straps when you start sailing faster and want more direct control.
Lightweight Single Layer construction
Neon SL is built with Single Layer Dropstitch construction, which keeps the board lightweight and easy to transport. It can be inflated up to 15 psi, giving it enough stiffness for learning, recreational freeride and first planing attempts. After your session, it packs into an ergonomic backpack compatible with the Unifiber Wheel Base.
