Built using Full Custom D/Lab technology, it is astonishingly light while being incredibly stiff. Duotone has created a board whose surprising acceleration takes it to a new level. Designed for the most demanding advanced users and those with ambitions for their first starts in professional or amateur regattas.
Even before hitting the water you can already get an idea of what to expect. Simply lift the board and you will be shocked how light it is. Then knock on the hull and you immediately realise how stiff the board is. Compare it with a typical semi-custom production board and the difference is imminent.
The result on the water is truly mind-blowing. Due to the massively reduced weight (up to 500g) and the incredible additional stiffness, even the unchanged shapes feel like a completely new board. The acceleration is on a totally different level than anything the duotone has produced before.
According to the latest PWA foil rules for 2024 you can only register one board size. This allowed to focus all entire development on this one board, refining the shape down to the last millimeter and perfecting every single detail.

AIRFLOW CONCEPT
In our CAD design process, we have seamlessly incorporated the latest CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) technology for aerodynamic analysis. This advanced approach ensures optimized airflow, significantly reducing drag and enhancing the top-speed performance of the Duotone product.
RECESSED MAST TRACK
The Recessed mastfoot area, keeps the rig connection low and boosts control.
SMOOTH TOUCH-DOWN
The optimized scoop rocker line, open V in the nose section and the specialized extended tail cut-outs make gybing more forgiving and help you keep the top speed more consistent.
The duotone has made slight updates to both the top and bottom of the board:
- On the bottom, while maintaining the same shape as before, they’ve introduced updated cutouts that allow the tail of the board to sink slightly deeper. This enhances takeoff in light winds and improves stability during high-speed touchdowns.
- On the top, they’ve smoothed the deck design as it transitions to the rails, improving both airflow and overall stability.

Bottom Shape
The 2 STEP CUT-OUTS reduce the wetted surface. This decreases the drag before take-off and accelerates the transition into flight mode

Reduce the wetted surface. This allows a wider tail outline and due to the further outboard rear strap position the rider can load more power onto the fin for more control and speed
Outline
Ultra compact length for improved air flow and higher crosswind top speeds, whilst still maintaining a stable gybing area for the feet
