Modular connection between Duotone platforms
The Frontpiece AL 3BS is designed to bridge different construction platforms within the Duotone foil range. It allows SLS and Original front wings to be combined with D/LAB rear fuselage sections and Monobloc Tails.
This makes it possible to use D/LAB tail performance in configurations with larger front wings that are not available as complete D/LAB systems.
23 cm length and 60 to 70 cm fuselage setups
The frontpiece measures 23 cm in length. Depending on the rear fuselage section used, the complete fuselage length ranges from 60 to 70 cm.
This allows riders to tune the overall setup according to riding style, discipline, and front wing size.
Compatibility with D/LAB and Monobloc Tails
The Frontpiece AL 3BS works with all D/LAB rear fuselage sections and Monobloc Tails.
This allows the low-drag performance characteristics of D/LAB tails to be integrated into setups based on SLS and Original front wings.
Designed for larger front wings and higher loads
The component is also intended for use with larger front wings such as the Glide 3.0 SLS 1250 / 1400 and Amp 2.0 1550 / 1800.
In these configurations, full carbon fuselage systems are not feasible because of the increased wing span and torsional loads. The aluminium Frontpiece AL 3BS makes it possible to combine these larger wings with D/LAB rear sections.
