Dakine Foil Board Floating Leash - Straight is designed for wing foiling and prone surf foiling. Its 7 ft straight construction works well in small waves and in sessions where you want to reduce the risk of the leash dropping under the board and catching on the foil.

The key difference compared to a regular surf leash is the set of movable EVA float tubes. They help keep the leash closer to the water surface, so it is less likely to sink below the board and get tangled around the mast, fuselage or foil wing. For foil riders, this is a useful detail that can save time, frustration and unnecessary interruptions during a session.

Durable cord and comfortable cuff

The leash uses a 1/4" [6.5 mm] hollow urethane Dura-Cord. This construction provides reliable strength while supporting the floating function, which is especially useful around foil gear. The straight leash design gives you a natural range of movement around the board without the spring-like feel of a coiled leash.

A 2" [50 mm] soft neoprene cuff sits comfortably around the ankle and helps reduce pressure points. You will appreciate it during longer sessions, repeated starts and climbs back onto the board after a fall.
